Synoptic systems associated with onset of southwest monsoon over Rajasthan

An attempt has been made to identify the main synoptic features, which are responsible for onset of southwest monsoon over two met sub divisions east and west Rajasthan period 1971-2004 based on modern observational technology developed forecasting technique in field short-range prediction surges. The low pressure systems (LPS) originate Arabian Sea, especially formation MTC indicates a good signature predicting monsoon, is prominent feature causing summer Rajasthan. In addition LPSs form Bay Bengal moved northwestwards direction reach its neighbourhood region as lopar or an upper air cycir, also brings Rajasthan.
